Life so far.

1) BU basically consists of NYU rejects. This is not just statistic, this is fact. That being said, I refuse to drop my resentment of being rejected by my first-choice... but I guess I like it enough here to NOT considering transferring yet. Who knows? I'll give a shot for 2 years here & we'll see if I'm happy or not.

2) I spend less time in my own room, which is good, because I think I would hit a puppy otherwise. Nah, I'm okay w/my room, but they turn on the heater on WARM days, which is whack when your desk is next to it.

3) I still need to buy my workout clothes/shoes in order to utilize our fitness center. I want to do rock-climbing SO BADLY, but I'm terrified of heights... N/N? Haha. My friends are going swimming on Friday, but I didn't bring my bikini w/me (plus, you're recommended to wear a one-piece in the pool). We also have a hot tub, so that depresses me further (though I'm not depressed enough to buy a one-piece swimsuit for $80 -- I can manage missing swimming for one night).

4) Either my roommates are stealing cash out of my wallet or I'm going to Starbucks to splurge on salted caramel hot chocolate way too often for my own good.

5) Apparently, I'm still the easiest to scare on both the west & east coasts. I screamed the most while watching "The Hitcher"... the sad part was I already watched it in the past.

6) We watched "21" again, but this time, we would get all excited at seeing BU's campus in the scenes, lol. The classroom scenes in the movie were filmed at my business school! I was in the same room Jim Sturgess was -- awesome!

7) I miss Ala Moana so much, it's CRAZY. Fuck Boston shopping, except we do have H&M & Urban Outfitters, which is nice. But I miss Forever21!!

8) I'm in the midst of hunting for a perfect winter jacket because North Face jackets are generic & I refuse to look like everyone else. That reminds me that I still need to buy a pair of Uggs in brown... okay, so maybe I am like everyone else?

Sick...

I totally cursed myself w/that hypothermia thing. Now I have a bad cold with a REALLY severe sore throat. Let me tell you one thing, sore throats here ARE NOT the same as sore throats in Hawaii. It's like x1000 more intense... ugh, fuck.

The concert was awesome though. Just sucked that I got sick right afterwards. I couldn't go on the shopping trip too since I don't think I could handle it.

And yes, Marcia, I think I'm still dressing inadequately... maybe I got sick partially due to not wearing friggin' socks or proper shoes. :'(

I miss my mommy.

HYPOTHERMIA? It's a possibility.

It's sooo freaking cold! I feel like I'm going to catch hypothermia or something. Ahhhhh!!

Tonight is the Death Cab for Cutie concert, so yayyyy. :) The walk will be a bit long, I'll see if I can manage it in my new gladiator sandals!

Tomorrow, the Hawaii Club is having a shopping trip to a premium outlet. They're going to provide spam musubi and mochi on the bus. I AM PSYCHED AS HELL (not for the shopping foremost, but the SPAM MUSUBI)! I've persuaded my New York friend to come along, only because I actually don't know anyone else in the club (lol for not going to any of the previous meetings).

I need to stock up on coats, boots, etc! A new handbag too would be nice.

Subway also finally opened. It's right next to the Starbucks, on the ground level of our residence towers. Awesome.

U-n-p-r-o-d-u-c-t-i-v-e.

I feel so unproductive in college. I just woke up from a nap (have cramps, so I really needed it).

I fall asleep in all my lecture classes easily, lol. I haven't really looked for a job yet, I'm not attending all these club meetings I signed up for & I haven't even utilized our awesome fitness center! To be fair, I don't have running shoes or real workout clothes, lol. I need to hike my ass to Marshall's or something & get some.

I'm so used to running around in high school, doing this for the yearbook, doing that for the newspaper, etc. Blahhhhh!!!

I did go to the post office today (we have a U.S. post office on our campus, bitches!) to mail a package to Nicole!!

"The Sisterhood was inspired by the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. As we all spread out across the country, we will still keep in touch and keep our friendship strong. The bracelet will pass in rotation from one member to the next, along with photos of the previous holder wearing the bracelet and a letter describing the events that the wearer endured during her time with the bracelet.

The Fellowship was also inspired by the Traveling Pants, however the blogs do not travel, the people travel. Since we are all in different places, it is a fun way to let each other know what they're up to by posting vlogs (video blogs) or regular blogs about their life, their feelings about moving to college, feelings when they get there, and about what's going on in the person's life while we are separated. Other members are able to view each other's blogs and comment and this way no one misses anything."
